Measurement-Based Handwriting Movement Analysis 1
Measurement-Based Handwriting Movement Analysis 1
Level I is the foundation for understanding the advanced graphological analysis techniques discussed in levels II and III: Recognizing a writer’s core personality, interpreting combinations of handwriting characteristics, identifying handwriting features for relationship compatibility, vocational guidance, and pre-employment selection and employee management, identifying conscious and subconscious or unconscious behavioral controls, identifying self-concept of strengths and weaknesses, integrity, and work ethic, revealing behavioral or personality disorders, medical and/or mental illnesses, and dangerous behavior.
Segment 1 (Introduction & Use of Space)
The handwriting features discussed in Segment 1 generally reveal whether a writer is more introverted or extroverted. Each handwriting feature will reveal something very specific about the writer, but these features in combination will reveal introversion or extroversion. The downloadable charts located in the assets to the right will further clarify this point and will help in understanding the Sample We’re Following discussion and Question & Answer section below. Each Question & Answer section belongs to a different lecture video and each question mainly tests your knowledge based on the previous lecture video. We also encourage you to use features from the other previous lecture videos to help support the conclusions of your analysis answers.
Analysis example of Sample A
This writer has two extroverted traits including a wide left margin and narrow word spacing and he has two introverted traits including narrow letter spacing and slight wide line spacing. This reveals so far that he is neither overly introverted nor extroverted, but has a nice balance between them. He will be outgoing or reserved depending on his mood.
He is more interested in exploring new opportunities and ideas rather than following the tried and true path and traditional trends and is eager to move ahead with his life due to the wide left margin. The narrow word spacing reveals that he likes to be around people, especially living in a suburban or urban environment. Despite the fact that this writer has close word spacing, revealing he likes to be around people, the narrow letter spacing reveals that he is inwardly shy, especially when interacting with other people. The slight wide line spacing reveals that this writer likes to look at things from a distant, but objective perspective and he prefers a more organized and paced lifestyle. The slight wide line spacing also reveals that he is not the type of person who would join many activities or clubs and does not prefer a very busy and chaotic lifestyle. This writer prefers a more predictable and steady lifestyle.
