The marketing trifecta: Creating a brand that represents

Brand marketing can be such a confusing topic. You ask your friends, search the internet, read books, and they all seem to give you something abstract. In this short course, simplicity and shotgun are the two words that describe the experience you will get from it.


You will learn what is actually important in your brand. That is being able to present a brand that represents the answers to three types of questions: what, who, and why. This is called the marketing trifecta, the easiest way to understand how to develop your brand.


I developed this course through the inspiration of running my own photography business and participating in a program called Discover Praxis. Here are some fun activities that you will get to work on throughout this course:

  • Define an ideal customer profile to better understand what people your business should be attracting to buy your products or services.

  • Write your company's overall purpose by preparing a mission statement, vision statement, and core values.

  • Exercises to increase your knowledge about your own products or services.


This course can be used as a starting point to better understand how to develop a brand, or for someone just curious to learn about the marketing trifecta method.
