This is a crash course about what and how basic visual design principles are applied on a slide in any medium for any presentation. No deep dives and no endless theory or research results included.

This is for those who either do not have the time or the latitude to sit and learn everything that there is on the topic. This is a course for anyone who needs to know and practice but is not a visual design professional.

1. If you want to know what to do when you create your presentations or check the quality of your visual design, based on determined best practices in the field of graphic and multimedia design, there is an overview of the basic yet most important standards of visual delivery.

2. If you want to check your knowledge, there is a five-question pre-test.

3. If you want to practice, there is an assignment with feedback with lots of examples.

4. If you want to use the foundational information as a reference, there is a checklist in a one-page PDF file for you to download.

5. If you want to see more examples, I have also included a set of slides with a presentation of before and after designs.
