This course is for anyone who desires to learn more about living a healthy lifestyle with short lectures.  This course focuses on the science behind nutrition and healthy eating. This course will teach and assist you in making habit changes that will change the way you eat and live, and help you to reach your goals and maintain optimal health. This course consists of 22 lectures, where you will learn all about nutrition basics, and choosing the right foods.  The lectures include: micronutrients, macronutrients, essential plants, essential calories, how to track, nutrition food labels, grocery store tour, fiber and digestive health, glycemic load, metabolism, fueling for fitness information, fitness products, foods that fight pain, addictive foods, sugar detox, appetite cravings, brain health, food and cancer research, diabetes prevention, gender specific issues, healthy eating around the world; work, holiday, and eating out; and finally, eating well when you are short on time.  You will receive a nutrition chart document, fiber chart document, and a how to track document to help you succeed in this course.  The nutrition chart will let you know what is recommended to eat.  It is divided into three colors: green, orange, and red that let you know what to eat.
