Blast Resistance Builidng Design:Part1

Blast Resistance Builidng Design:Part1

This course  will cover all about design the building to resist the blast load. This course in 3 parts this part1 will discuss the nature of blast load, how to calculate the loads on the building. The building response as per ASCE and the materials properties in case of blast load effects. The dynamic nature of blast load will be presented in this part1. The SDOF method  will be discuss in detail in addition to using the figure and closed form solution as well. The Newark integration method is illustrated in this part and present it practically through an excel sheet.

The multi degree of freedom (MDOF) method is also presented and present the difference i design for concrete and steel strucrures. In this part defines the conditions and linitation on the code for design the building to resist the blat load as well. In part 2 it will be applied in concrete structure and define the way of apply the method of the analysis on the real projects to design all the element. in part 3 it will be appiled on steel structure. The foundation design check for blast load will be discuss by checking the overturning, sliding and also design the foundation based on the maximum dynamic load.

The attendees will recive a Free ebook to cover this subject and excel sheet to assist in the calculation for numerical methods. If the attendees in roll in 3 parts it will be a free webinar to collect all the inquiries.
