Section 1 : Financial Management - Basics

This section enables to understand concept of Financial management . It includes:

• Meaning and concept of Financial management along with example

• Finance Function

• Sources of Funds / Procurement of Funds

• Utilization of Funds

• Difference between Profit maximization and Wealth maximization

Section 2 : Sources of Finance

This section gives brief introduction about various types of Sources of Finance along with examples.

Section 3 : Long Term Financial funds and Medium Term Financial funds

This section enables to understand types of Long Term Financial funds and Medium term Financial funds in detail. Each type of financial fund is explained along with examples in a separate video lectures. This includes :

• Equity Share Capital - Meaning of Equity share capital, Risks and returns involved in equity share capital from Company's point of view and investor's point of view.

• Preference Share Capital - Meaning of Preference share capital, Risks and returns involved in equity share capital from Company's point of view and investor's point of view. It also explains about different types and combinations of preference shares

• Debentures - Meaning of Debentures, Risks and returns involved in equity share capital from Company's point of view and investor's point of view. It also explains about different types and combinations of Debentures

• Bonds - Meaning of Bonds, Risks and returns involved in equity share capital from Company's point of view and investor's point of view. It also explains about different types and combinations of Bonds

• Venture Capital Financing - Meaning of Venture Capital Financing along with types of Venture Capital Financing

• Asset Securitisation / Debt Securitisation - Meaning and explanation of concept of Asset Securitisation / Debt Securitisation along with illustration.

• Lease Financing - Meaning of Lease Financing. It also includes explanation of different types of Lease along with illustrations. It includes Operating Lease, Finance Lease, Sale and Lease back, Leveraged lease, Sale aid lease, Open ended lease and Close ended lease.

• Depository Receipts (International Financing option ) - It includes explanation of American Depository Receipts (ADR), Global Depository Receipts (GDR) and Indian Depository Receipts (IDR)

This section enables to understand different sources of Short Term Financial funds not related to Banking or Financial institutions. These includes :
