Public Speaking - Delivering a Message They Will Remember

In this course  you will learn how to become a confident and successful public speaker.

Speaking in public is an art. Whether the group is small or large many people find the process completely overwhelming. However, it can be done. Successful presentations require clear delivery that includes proper use of the language, proper inflection, pauses and emphasis.

If you’ve ever had to speak in public before you know that feeling of terror you experience when you’re standing in front of a crowd. Unfortunately, there is no magic pill that makes you instantly ready to stand up and dazzle your audience. While some people seem to have a knack for delivering great presentations others struggle just to get the words out. The good news is that even those who don’t possess a natural talent for public speaking can learn this valuable skill with enough preparation, practice and persistence.

Developing good speech habits is the first step in becoming a confident public speaker and just like developing any good habit good speaking habits are created by you through practice and more practice.  In this course you will learn what to practice to become good at this art of public speaking.

Routine is the key and the best way to establish a new routine in speech is to practice. Use these until you can come up with routines of your own.

This course is comprised of two distinct sections. The first deals with learning to speak correctly whether it is in conversation or when speaking in public. Then in the second section you will learn techniques to use when giving a talk or a presentation to a group of any size.  These are techniques that will set you apart from others and will give you confidence you need to always leave a message they will remember
