Chibi (ちび or 禿び (which is rarely used)? lit. softly) is a Japanese term used in the context of anime or manga to describe a very stylized character design stroke, with heads being slightly larger than the size of the characters. bodies, usually for a comic or more sentimental effect. A striking feature of the Chibi is that the nose is almost always not drawn, the mouth feature is not always finished and the features in general are very simplified.
