Children to Young Adults Autism Breath, Move and Relax

Teen Oxygen Advantage is an online program to help children, teens and young adults work on fun and easy to follow breathing exercises and movement patterns to improve physical well-being and mental health.


This course is focused on children with autism, or on the spectrum. There is a mixture of exploratory and practical exercise videos to work on. By trying different breathing techniques and styles, depending on what is most engaging to the student they will discover their own natural rhythms.


By working on some breath work exercises you help build up respiratory healthy and improve physical endurance.


The yoga flow sequences are easy to follow and repeat the movement patterns to help the student get the most from the movement. Each sequence is focused on improving muscle strength, mobility and flexibility.


Finally they also have access to some mindfulness exercises and relaxation videos for the more challenging days to help manage stress and anxiety. These videos consist of switching off, self awareness to regulate emotions and tools for engaging in the world around them.


Ideally suited to older children and teens, but many younger children can find it engaging. The programme can be used at the students own pace and in the comfort of their own home, alone or with a parent or carer.
