Gentle Exercise - all ages - all fitness levels

This gentle form of exercise consists of using a chair nearby, gentle cardio workout followed by using a small hand weight (or substitute). 

You can also choose not to use any fitness items.  Hand weights are NOT compulsory.

  • Perfect to do in the comfort and safety of your own home.  Suitable for Seniors, anyone wanting to start a fitness program or at a general beginner level. 

  • There are no pressures, no pushing you to go harder or faster, just go at your own pace and slowly increase as you feel comfortable and stronger. 

  • All exercises in this program are low impact exercises, gentle cardio warm up, great toning for the whole body. So no jumping or quick movements.  The exercises are all done either standing, on a chair or having a chair nearby to lean on if you require it.  There are no exercises that require you to do your workout on the floor.

  • You can start with the warm up section, then select which sessions you would like to do, you don't have to do the full 1 hour.  Then you can finish using the cool down session.

  • Look after your body by gently starting to move it.  This is not a weight loss program.

  • Be assured that Amelia is an Registered Exercise Professional who continues to teach students this exercise on a daily basis with excellent results.  She is very proud to have students in their 50's, 60's & 70's plus who attend regularly with great results.
