In this class I will be teaching you step by step how to create this mixed media phoenix bird

we will be predominantly using Viviva watercolor flipbook and

posca pens .

You will need watercolors , acrylic paint and posca pens paintbrush And watercolor pad

we will be breaking down each step and drawing and painting this bird in simple layers to build structure and depth. I will show you how I create this piece from the simple pencil sketch to the finished and detailed bird. 

This class is suitable for beginners and people who feel they may not be confident in sketching , so don't let yourself be intimidated by the process , creativity can be tapped and when the process is explained and demonstrated in step by step demos you may find you surprise yourself with what you're capable of.

While I recommend the products I use in this class you are welcome to interchange brands and colors based on your own preference. Art is about self expression and I always encourage students to push the boundaries of their work so I love to see people learning my style and then watching their evolution from there, once the spark has been lit the possibilities are endless .
