School of the Future: Agenda 2030

In this course, we will discuss how schools need to transform to be ready for the future. We will use research to understand how this will happen and why this is important in today's global economy and context.

We will discuss the obstacles that education will face during this transformation, and suggest solutions to make your vision for 2030 a reality. We will approach the planning needed and the importance of local, contextual planning. The course will show why this transformation will make an impact.

Our Agenda 2030 will equip you with the tasks and skills needed to lead this transformative project in sections that you can easily fit around your commitments.

We will discuss how the interaction between stakeholders (students, teachers, subjects, school and parents/carers) will, and should, change.

We will be realistic and grade how likely our ideas are to come to fruition, but will also allow ourselves to dream about an even better environment of learning and experiences for students in order to maximise teaching and learning; ultimately ensuring that our students will be able to access highly skilled communities by sharing their values and skills.

We are Mentoring the Middle and we support school leadership development by focusing on Middle Leaders. Being middle leaders ourselves, we understand the important but somehow forgotten role of Middle Leaders, and we are determined to change this.
