Hometown Logo Design Challenge: The Circle Shape

Welcome to the Logo Design: Hometown Challenge!

In this challenge, you will be designing a circle shaped logo, representing your own hometown! I will be joining you in this challenge and sharing design tips and tricks along the way. Follow along with me as I design my own logo for my hometown and show you how I do it!

I will show you my step by step process for circle logo design, including:

1. The 4 Core Principles Of Circle Logo Design: Balance, Hierarchy, Unity and Positive / Negative Space.

2. Circle Logo Research - I share a wide range of logo options and discuss their strengths and how they use the core principles.

3. The Sketching Phase - I share my step by step process of sketching out ideas on paper.

4. Re-Creating The Logo In Adobe Illustrator - I share how to translate the idea from paper to Adobe Illustrator and how to rebuild the logo element by element.

5. Adding Color and Texture To The Logo - In this step the logo really comes to life with added color and texture! This is my favourite part!

6. Final Touches and Save - I show you how to wrap up the logo design and pre to save.

At the end of this challenge, you will have a complete circle shaped logo, representing your hometown!

I encourage you to share your logo design on social media.
