The course contain 2 parts:

Chapters 1-15: Microsoft Excel

Chapters 16-20: Microsoft Access

In the first part, about Excel, I will teach you all about Excel, from the simplest things, like how to create a table and how to save the file, to more difficult things, which will help you automate your work to accomplish tasks in a much easier way. I will use my 10 years of experience in this field of work, to teach you the most common mistakes that can be encountered when using Excel, and how to solve those problems.

At the end of this part you will know to:

1. Differentiate between Excel files

2. Create a table and edit it

3. Use base functions like Sum, Average, Count, IF, SumIF, SumIFS and much more, but also more difficult functions like Offset, Vlookup, Hlookup, Index & Match, DGet

4. Use the filter and sort data

5. Use Conditional Formatting

6. Use Data Validation and create different scenarios for the data

7. Use the statistical part of Excel, to apply ANOVA, Regression and other statistical tests

8. Create all the charts and to make a Dashboard

9. Protect the sheet and Workbook

10. Print

11. Use Macros and VBA: web scrapping, break the password of the Excel, automate repetitive tasks and more

12. Create UserForm

In the second part, about Access, I will cover all the Query and you will learn how to manage large database with millions of records, and how to obtain data according to requirements. This time too, you will see the common mistakes that can appear and how to solve them.

At the end of this part you will know:

1. How to create a table and edit the fields

2. How to apply restrictions for certain fields, according to preferences

3. How to import data from different programs in Access and Export data

4. How to filter data and sort them

5. How to use default Query and extracting data according to preferences, using Queries: Select, Make Table, Append, Update, CrossTab, Delete

6. How to create a Form and a Report

7. How to use scripts in module to manage data after the preferences


This course will take you from beginner level and will offer you solid knowledge about Excel and Access, which will help you achieve all the goals of managing databases. So this course it's for beginners who want to learn the two programs, but also for those who know the basics of the two programs, but want to improve their knowledge about them and to see different cases that can be encountered in a workplace.
