Punching Bag Basics - Level 1

The punching bag is a powerful ally in your health and fitness journey! Not only is it a great way to have a great workout and release some stress, you can also learn how to kick some ass and potentially defend yourself if you need to.

If you have a punching bag sitting at home and don't know how to use it, or you want to use the one at the gym but feel like you'll just embarrass yourself, this course is for you. You'll learn some basic punching techniques, some powerful punch combinations and how to work the bag like a champ!

Section 1 is dedicated to making sure you have everything you need to get started - What type of bag is best for you? What gloves do you need? How should you wrap your hands?

Section 2 introduces the basics of boxing, including movement and punching techniques - the jab, the cross, the hook and the body hook. You'll learn the basic technique and have an opportunity to practice each one of them.

Section 3 teaches you how to use punches in combination - 5 great combinations to learn and practice.

Section 4 teaches you how to flow on the bag and create your own powerful punching bag workout experiences. This section also serves as your "final exam", with a 5 round punching bag workout designed to test your knowledge and skill on everything you learned in this course.
