How to Paint Flowers Step by Step
How to Paint Flowers Step by Step
Hey there! I’m artist and illustrator Steph Calvert and today I’m going to be showing you a bunch of different ways to draw and paint flowers so you can make your very own completely original piece of art!
I’ve started creating really open ended art classes for kids here in Henry County, Georgia and it’s been great! But.
I have lots of art friends that are still on remote school, or they live out of state, or are parents that can’t make it to a specific day or time, need to save a little money by paying once for multiple kids, or maybe they just want to have some fun at home on their own time.
I thought it’d be nice to start working out an online option to share these classes with even more people each month!
This project's theme is May Flowers but you don’t have to follow that; if you’re inspired to create something else as you play around with the things we’re learning, that’s great - keep going in that direction!
Here’s what we’ll need for today’s lesson:
• Paper - plain ol’ copy paper, binder paper, whatever
• Markers or pencil, something dry to draw with
• Paper plate, rinse cup, water, brushes, paints
• Canvas board - can get them at dollar stores usually, or a bigger craft store
