This course is designed for the purpose of "improving listening and reading comprehension for beginners". It consists of three parts, "Basics", "Part 1", and "Part 2".

In the "Basics", beginners will learn how to read kanji and how to guess the meaning of kanji, which are necessary for "improving listening comprehension and reading comprehension". Students will check their basic knowledge while doing exercises under the themes of "Hiragana, Katakana, Kanji", "Japanese-made English and a loan words", "On-yomi and Kun-yomi", "Two-character (four-character) compound words", and "Homonym".

In "Part 1", you will learn 5W1H to get a quick overview of the sentence. 5W1H is a word taken from five English words starting with W, When, Where, Who, What, Why, and one English word starting with H, How. In this part, you will practice using 5W1H to quickly grasp the whole picture. If you want to tell someone what you are thinking, it is said that if you compose sentences in the order of 5W1H, you can clearly convey what you want to say to the other person.

In addition, we will practice reading aloud with the themes of "eating," "shopping," "seeing a doctor," "getting on the train," and "working part-time."

"Reading aloud practice by slash reading" is an effective learning method for those who have a problem that "the sentences are too long and you cannot understand what they are saying in the middle." In other words, "reading aloud practice method by slash reading" is a method to prevent "return reading" and understand in Japanese word order.

In "Part 2", you will learn the connection between sentences by breaking down long Japanese sentences into two sentences and conversely connecting two short Japanese sentences into one sentence. Here, you will learn "conjunctions", "time", "understand the contents and order", etc. In this part, you will practice connecting sentences using conjunctions and practice converting words appropriately to make meaningful sentences.

In addition, we will practice reading aloud with the themes of "traveling," "sending luggage," "asking for," and "delivering to the government office."

This practice method has the effect of activating the brain because the brain performs complicated processes such as reading letters with the eyes, speaking with the mouth, and listening to the voice with the ears.
