Sommelier Exam Preparation Course - II

Sommelier Exam Preparation Course - II

Welcome to the wine world!

Whether you’re a wine novice or a seasoned oenophile, this course is for anyone who loves to study wine and wants to master the topic.

When it comes to pursuing a sommelier certification, or any certification, it takes commitment and patience to crack it as the process is challenging and arduous. This course is intended to give some helpful revision to facilitate this journey. It is mainly focused on things I wish I knew a few years back when I started my wine journey as a Sommelier.

While studying the globe (literally), it is easy to skip a few important details or neglect some while making your notes. With these practice tests, we have designed to cover all the important details needed to be best equipped for your exam.

Repetition is key to memorizing the appellation, grape varieties, ageing requirements, soil profiles and other facts. By using these practice tests you can do just about that. Although I would do recommend you to do a significant amount of self-study along with the practice test to understand the nuances of the wine world and to gain more knowledge.

Unfortunately, we could only put in 6 Practice Tests per Course. The 2nd Practice Test course is focused on the remaining Old World countries, i.e., Spain, Portugal, Germany, Austria, Hungary, Greece and Eastern European countries. All regions and sub-regions which are important to study at Beginner and Intermediate levels are covered under these Practice Tests. (But if we have missed anything do feel free to drop in a message.)

The practice tests have a maximum of 50 of the most important questions from every viticultural region which can be asked in your exams, although please note that the wine world is ever-changing and new updates will keep coming. We have tried our level best to provide you with the most updated content.

The finer details can take years to learn, but in a matter of weeks, this course will give you a broad understanding of the level of knowledge required to crack some of the most competitive wine exams.

Hope to make your wine studies more interesting!
