Motivating and Influencing Others for Success

Motivating and Influencing Others for Success

This workshop is not about influencing on a Social Platform. It is not about using Social Media to win followers. But it is specifically designed to deliver to you the critical skills and processes required to help you win the support and active contributions you need from those around you in order to produce observable and positive results – for all concerned.

You will build on your natural ability to read people and relate to them in a way that makes them more comfortable with you and therefore more willing to be on your side. That’s the emotional aspect, or the hearts part of the “hearts and minds”. Reinforcing that strongly is the “minds” aspect; the logic-based desire process for you to employ with confidence that it will encourage others to both support you and take action on your behalf. In combination these approaches represent a powerful yet open and honest way to get other people to help you reach or exceed your goals more easily.

If you are in or aspiring to a leadership or management position, being someone who can win the hearts and minds of others increases your value to the organisation immensely.

You can probably see some connections to your personal life as well.

This workshop ensures that it’s easy for you to acquire these skills and processes. More importantly, the learning methodology and included activities/assignments help you to practice for mastery, personalise to your own style and approach, and apply these skills precisely to the reality of your role and the day-to-day situations you face.

We will be using the downloadable Motivating and Influencing Others for Success Workbook resource; this has copies of key slides and notes, Application Exercises and Assignments to be done during and after the Workshop, Self-Assessment test for mastery, Action Plans for ongoing development and to help meet future challenges and further information with links
