Write Your Screenplay teaches the process of writing a screenplay; starting with the initial idea and story development, then structuring your story before writing your first draft.

1. Learn the mechanics of storytelling and use it to develop your idea into a complete story.

2. Learn how to structure your story using a three or five act structure.

3. Learn the techniques of writing action and dialogue.

The course materials contain two worksheets.

• Logline worksheet: When you have taken your idea through the development process, how can you summarise your protagonist and the main conflict in a single sentence.

• Act Structure worksheet: Whether you prefer three or five acts, this worksheet is there to help you build you story, making sure the beats are in the right place.
