This course, Yoga Terms and Concepts made easy, will discuss the basic foundations of Yoga and the most common yoga terminology and concepts.

This course is put together in an easy and simple to understand approach. The course will give an overview of the important words, that can be difficult to comprehend in ancient texts, such as various yoga positions, elements or the names of the energy centers.

All words will be given in Sanskrit and English, when clear translations are available, and will be defined in a non-complex manner. Explanations are given where no direct translation exists.

We will also cover the most important foundational concepts that are covered in yoga. These foundational concepts are the basis for anyone embarking on a spiritual journey through yoga and for those that may be looking for a basic guide during their studies.

These terms and concepts will provide a solid foundation and include concepts like the 8 limbs of yoga, the energy body from a yoga perspective, the five elements, the five koshas, the four parts of the mind, the various paths of yoga one can study, the most important yogic texts and more.

Included will be pdfs, quizzes and an assignment to further reinforce your learning.
