The first year of motherhood is often a time brimming with frustration, and sometimes resentment. New mothers feel that their needs are not understood, and they fear being judged for feeling overwhelmed. New mothers are tired, anxious and highly stressed. They long for someone to listen to them and show compassion.  Unfortunately, new mothers report they get little to no support from anyone around them, especially their husbands.

Being a new mother is one of the most challenging roles a woman will ever “mother”. She will have feelings that she has never had before and body changes she doesn’t understand or like.

This course helps new mothers learn how to communicate effectively with their husbands to help ease some of the stress and demands associated with the first year being a mom. This course includes an online component that teaches new mothers how to set boundaries and manage expectations so they can get more done, repair strained relationships, and develop healthier ways of coping.
