Being a good parent means you need to teach your child what is right and what is wrong. Setting limits and being consistent are key to effective parenting.  Being kind, yet firm are proven ways to instill good behaviors. If your child is unruly, you need to focus on the reasons behind this behavior.  Children raised by parents who are responsive to their needs tend to do better emotionally​. By keeping open the lines of communication, you’ll have a stronger relationship with your child and your child will come to you when there is a problem.

“Your Parenting Makeover” focuses on your ability to interact and engage with children in such a way that they learn to grow into remarkable adults. You must connect with your child at a meaningful and personal level. In this course, you will address how to show love and support, set limits on their behavior, become a role model for your child, teach your child responsibility and show respect. You will create a different perspective on how to handle disagreements and conflicts without any abuse, neglect, or violence. “Your Parenting Makeover” builds strong relationships between parents and children.

You do not have to provide solutions. You do not need to have all the answers to be a good parent. Just listen to your child express herself and ask clarifying questions to help her focus in on the issues.  This course offers valuable insights on the impact of life coaching on this subject.
