I DIDN'T WANT TO GO! The trip sounded fabulous, but I was afraid that I wouldn't be able to make meals and provide snacks that would keep him on his low sodium regimen. What's a wife to do?? Well, I spent  hours researching, documenting easy to prepare low-sodium meals, and gathering the ingredients I needed to pack. We had a fabulous time on our road trip, and Johnie stayed below his "magic number" (with the exception of breakfast one morning).  When the days are spent on the road, the key to success is to have all items needed to prepare tasty quick meals, and a good supply of snacks.
