Maiden's Circle: Wicca for Newbies

Maiden's Circle: Wicca for Newbies

This lesson is a brief introduction to Wicca as a religion in the Western world. It’s one of our most academic lessons.

We believe it’s important to have a strong foundation and to know the history of our practice. So in this lesson, we’ll discuss Wicca’s origins, the beliefs that hold many Wiccans together, and the practices most important to Maiden's Circle Coven.

In this lesson, we'll discuss the one lovingly nicknamed the "King of the Witches," Gerald Gardner. We'll enjoy a documentary about the founder of Wicca the religion and look into the ways modern Wiccans practice this not-so-ancient system of belief.

This course is perfect for those interested in the basic history of Wicca, as well as the texts and tenets beloved by many Wiccans (such as the Wiccan Rede), and for those who wish to take a deeper look into their own spiritual beliefs.

Lessons are in simple video format for your listening ease. Within this course you'll find (descriptive list, these are not the titles of each section):

1. A Welcome Video

2. A Lesson On Labels

3. A Bit Of Poetry And Other Fancy Words

4. A Video About Those Crazy Guys Who Get All The Credit

5. A Chance To Really Look At Yourself

6. A Bit Of A Refresher And A Bonus

7. A Moment To Reflect And Test What You Learned

Thank you for sharing your path with Maiden's Circle.

Blessed be.
