This course cover the LTE drop call optimization on Nokia Equipment, explaining the connection drop in LTE, counters and KPIs, related parameters and low performance troubleshooting.

The course is designed to provide a detailed knowledge of LTE drop call scenarios, counters, parameters and their impact on LTE network performance.

This course is addressed to technical staff who is responsible of LTE network optimization.


Course Objectives:

Upon Completing this course, the student will be able to:

  • Topic 2: RRC Re-establishment

Explain the RRC re-establishment procedure till R15, triggering criteria, parameters and counters.

  • Topic 3: LTE Drop Call Troubleshooting / UE side

Explain different cases of a drop call initiated by a UE, procedures, associated parameters and counters.

  • Topic 4: LTE Drop Call Troubleshooting / eNodeB & MME sides

Explain the drop call initiated by eNodeB and MME, different cases of a Radio link failure. Algorithm and features to detection a radio link failure by eNodeB.
