This is a comprehensive and detailed tutorial, using the idea of designing and creating a book cover (or book jacket) from a short brief / instruction sheet, where you will be constructing your 'rough concept', setting up your page size and basic layout.

With both captions, graphic guides and voice over, you will be guided through the several stages in a series of 'instructional' videos. I have made these videos as comprehensive and detailed as possible - while hopefully also keeping you as engaged and informed. 

I have also added numerous 'tips and shortcuts'), taking you and  teaching the 'end-to-end' workflow of designing and preparing your own 'print-ready' finished art.
(Throughout the course, I will highlight aspects that I have found to be considered as 'essential' - such as 'ppi' / 'dpi' (screen and print resolution), or CYMK vs RGB or 'crop marks', 'bleed' etc)

For this series, I am using the Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop applications - however the project and concept could be done in other applications - perhaps with different terminology in places, but in principle this is a fairly 'generic' project. (You will see I have worked in both, 'Vector' (Illustrator) and 'Raster' (Photoshop) applications, so you might want to consider other 'vector' and 'rester' applications, such as the Affinity Suite - if you do not want or have the Adobe suite...

Although not strictly an 'illustration tutorial', I have included some degree of illustration - (NB. I will be covering 2D and D illustration in depth in other lessons)

I have also included two 'bonus' videos quickly showing you how I have made some of the elements in a 3D application. ... These elements were included in the finished art. (Again, I have tutorials and lessons about 3D art)
